Βραδιά Ενημέρωσης του Προγράμματος SEMELI
Η Θεολογική Σχολή Εκκλησίας Κύπρου (Θ.Σ.Ε.Κ.) διοργανώνει και φιλοξενεί στις εγκαταστάσεις της, Βραδιά Ενημέρωσης του Ευρωπαϊκού Εκπαιδευτικού Προγράμματος SEMELI (Socially Excluded youth of MEdia Literacy), που θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Πέμπτη 20 Οκτωβρίου 2022 και ώρα 18:00-19:30. Οι εγγραφές θα πραγματοποιηθούν από τις 17:30 μέχρι τις 18:00. Στους συμμετέχοντες θα δοθεί πιστοποιητικό παρακολούθησης. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι μπορούν να δηλώσουν συμμετοχή, μέχρι τη Δευτέρα 17 Οκτωβρίου 2022, αποστέλλοντας e-mail στην ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση:[email protected]
Στο έργο, που συγχρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή μέσω του προγράμματος Erasmus+, (KA3), συμμετέχουν εταίροι από πέντε χώρες: την Κύπρο (Θεολογική Σχολή Εκκλησίας της Κύπρου, Enoros Consulting Ltd, Τμήμα Φυλακών και Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο, το οποίο είναι και συντονιστής του προγράμματος), την Ελλάδα (Athens Lifelong Learning institute), την Ισπανία (Associació Social Andròmines), τη Ρουμανία (Asociatia de Terapie Familiala si de Cuplu Timisoara – ATFCT) και τη Λετονία (EPPEA Association).
Το πρόγραμμα SEMELI ξεκίνησε επίσημα την 1η Δεκεμβρίου 2020 και έχει σχεδόν ολοκληρώσει τους περισσότερους από τους στόχους του. Το έργο έχει αναπτύξει και εφαρμόσει καινοτόμες μεθόδους και πρακτικές για την προώθηση της ενσωμάτωσης των κοινωνικά και γεωγραφικά περιθωριοποιημένων νεαρών κρατουμένων (16-35 ετών) από τα ψηφιακά μέσα και τα ΜΜΕ. Μέσω της καλλιέργειας κοινών αξιών με την υπόλοιπη κοινωνία και την προώθηση των ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων και του μιντιακού γραμματισμού έχει ήδη εκπαιδεύσει 35 νεαρούς κρατουμένους στο Τμήμα Φυλακών Κύπρου και αντίστοιχο αριθμό στις υπόλοιπες τέσσερις χώρες. Επιπρόσθετα, έχει ετοιμαστεί το πρόγραμμα εκπαίδευσης δεσμοφυλάκων, οι οποίοι μετά την εκπαίδευσή τους θα μπορούν να λειτουργούν ως εκπαιδευτές και εμψυχωτές στην προώθηση του μιντιακού γραμματισμού για την ενδυνάμωση των νεαρών κρατουμένων.
Η βραδιά ενημέρωσης περιλαμβάνει τόσο τη γενική παρουσίαση του Προγράμματος SEMELI, όσο και την παρουσίαση των επιμέρους θεματικών ενοτήτων του Προγράμματος Εκπαίδευσης των κρατουμένων και των δεσμοφυλάκων.

SEMELI PROGRAMME INFORMATION EVENING
The Theological School of the Church of Cyprus (T.S.C.C.) organizes and hosts at its premises, an Information Evening for the European Educational Programme SEMELI (Socially Excluded youth of Media Literacy), which will take place on Τhursday, 20 October 2022, at 18:00-19:30. Registration will take place from 17:30 to 18:00. Participants will be given a certificate of attendance. The project, co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme (KA3), involves partners from five countries: Cyprus (Theological School of the Church of Cyprus, Enoros Consulting Ltd, Cyprus prison Department and European University- the project Coordinator), Greece (Athens Lifelong Learning institute), Spain (Associació Social Andròmines), Romania (Asociatia de Terapie Familiala si de Cuplu Timisoara – ATFCT) and Latvia (EPPEA Association).
The SEMELI project was officially launched on the 1st of December 2020 and it has completed most of its objectives. The project has developed and implemented innovative methods and practices to promote the inclusion of socially and geographically marginalised young prisoners (16-35 years old) through digital media and medialiteracy. Through the cultivation of shared values with the rest of the society and the promotion of digital skills and media literacy, it has already trained 35 young prisoners in the Cyprus Prison Department and equivalent number of participants from the other four countries. In addition, the training programme for prison guards has been prepared. After their training, prison guards will be able to act as trainers and facilitators in promoting media literacy for the empowerment of young prisoners.
The information evening includes both the general presentation of the SEMELI Programme and the presentation of the individual thematic modules of the Training Programme of Prisoners and Prison Guards.
